    Hybrid as your next vehicle? But shop wisely, some of the batteries used in hybrds are reported to do more damage to the environment during the manufacturing process than they save over a 4 yr usage window.

    You have timers and setback thermometers, but have you thought about the computers, modems, tv's, a/v equipment, etc that all have their power on standby. Also I hope that you don't have a propensity to get headaches because all those florescent bulbs may just trigger them.
