Any knuckle head can stoop to the gutter to join people like myself and drop F bombs, but the truly worthy are much better than that. Her reward will come in time.

A very politically incorrect comment and a suggested 4th lesson for you. When teaching each of my children the joy and skills of driving, I distinctively recall saying to each and yes to the young lady "...be very careful while driving in shopping centers because they are filled with women drivers...". Women have their own set of rules only known to them.

I am also very surprised and proud to see you roll u your sleeves to diagnose your VW. I know how much pride you take in the little guy.

Lastly, were you able to squeeze some work into this hectic day of yours? with all the back and forth driving, multiple wardrobe changes, the love-fest with your new best friend and shopping at Best Buy, just wondering how much quality time was spent "strategizing". LOL. You do work for the government don't you???

Re: Key stuck on your Passat ignition?

This blog was very helpful, I'm in DC for the Inaugeral festivities and a tow truck just wasn't an option.

Re: Key stuck on your Passat ignition?

This fixed my problem too. (what a lame nick). Relying on scientific evidence is good... but what is science? Using the fife senses we have... touch, smell, taste, vision & hearing... but what if there is another sense - our inner person. What if there are other dimensions that only our spirit has access to.
I came from where you are and I realized that it is not wise to rely only on the five senses, while invoking the inner experience, which may just have the answer.

Re: Is God real?

I know this post is a lil' outdated, but...
It's funny that the suffering in the world makes you suspicious. We're all sinners, are all deprived from anything good and deserve death. We should be happy that at least God decided to reach out His hand out and offer hope so that one day we can be reunited with Him, where there is no suffering.

Re: Key stuck on your Passat ignition?

Thanks - that solved my stuck-key problem!!

Re: Worst Lyric, Best Lyric

Are we human, or are we dancers... On the other hand, put you and the little Mrs in a toy store and look out, the impulses take over and you're fighting some little old lady for the last Barbie on the shelf. Please tell me you won't be in Best Buy on Black Friday at oh-dark-30 for some electronic/techno wizard gadget.

On the other hand, the way you raved about the ease of doing business with Red Box from an earlier posting, I would have guessed you for a 100% online shopper with the UPS truck pulling up in front of the house daily.

Very complex, very complex you are.

Now, if the "squirrel" truly wants to stave off the government bailouts, buy your kid a Chevy......no lines at the Cochran dealership.

Re: Worst Lyric, Best Lyric

....it's better to burn out, than to fade away. I am in the same boat where all I can find is the question. The Mozilla forums gave me a glimmer of hop, but it ended up being a solution on how to do this for their mail client. Making the same changes in FF did not eliminate the issue. It is frustrating. I ended up back with WebKit for now, but would like to be able to use Firefox as it works better for me when I use Citrix.
